The twin/double room at Home Farm in Churchstow was absolutely lovely. The private bathroom was a definite bonus, and the private entrance made me feel like I had my own little haven. The garden views were simply stunning and added to the overall tranquility of the room. As someone who values privacy and peaceful surroundings, this room was perfect for me.
I must admit that the only downside for me was that the room did not have a mini-fridge. But hey, that's just my personal preference, and I'm sure others won't mind.

The hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available to cater to our needs. The continental breakfast was delicious, and the bed was so comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The powerful shower was a wonderful bonus. Additionally, the location was ideal for exploring the beautiful South Hams.
Although our stay was fantastic overall, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. the lack of Wi-Fi made it difficult for us to stay connected with our loved ones back home.

For the price we paid, we got incredible value - a tastefully renovated period property with a modern twist and the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway, and Susie and Chris, the owners, were incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The shared kitchen was a unique bonus, allowing us to make a cup of tea whenever we pleased, and the garden seating area was the ideal spot for a pre-dinner drink. Highly recommended!
Breakfast delights could be improved with a wider selection of toiletries provided, as we had to purchase shampoo and shower gel during our stay. A small hairdryer would also be a nice addition, especially during colder months.

Fabulous Garden Views and a Hilariously Comfortable Bed
Waking up to the stunning garden views from our cozy twin/double room at Home Farm was like stepping into a nature lover's dream. The tranquility and serenity of the surroundings were simply breathtaking. And let's talk about the bed - it was as comfortable as floating on a cloud! I swear, I haven't had such a restful night's sleep in ages. It felt like being cradled by the arms of a loving giant panda!
Though the room was clean and the bed was heavenly, I must admit that I missed having a full-length mirror. It would have been convenient when getting ready in the morning.
